But in developed countries, stress<br \/>\nfrom work has led to many people neglecting the basic<br \/>\nrequirements for health.  So what is nutrition?  Nutrition<br \/>\nis the process of getting the right kinds of food into your<br \/>\nbody for proper growth and development.  Not obtaining the<br \/>\nright balance of nutritional foods can affect every aspect<br \/>\nof your life.  We need to correct our eating habits and<br \/>\nstart living a healthier lifestyle.<\/p>\n<p>A balanced nutritious diet based centered on nutrients is a<br \/>\nhealthy diet.  Nutrients are substances found in food that<br \/>\nnourish the body.  Proper nutrition allows us to have a<br \/>\nshapely body with appropriate body weight.  A balanced<br \/>\namount of fat and muscle can help you carry out your daily<br \/>\nactivities without straining your mentally or physically.<br \/>\nNutritional disorders result when you don&#8217;t get the right<br \/>\namount of nutrients.<\/p>\n<p>Nutrients are divided into two groups: macronutrients and<br \/>\nmicronutrients. The first groups include proteins, fats,<br \/>\nsome minerals, water and carbohydrates and they are needed<br \/>\non a daily basis and in large quantities. Micronutrients are<br \/>\nalso required daily but in small quantities. They consist of<br \/>\nvitamins and some minerals that allow the body to use<br \/>\nmacronutrients. There are some guidelines for a healthy diet<br \/>\nbut it is important to know that nutritional requirements<br \/>\ndepend on many factors such as age, weight, sex, height and<br \/>\nphysical activities.<\/p>\n<p>Choosing foods that contain a low percentage of saturated<br \/>\nfat is recommended for eating healthy.  Foods low in<br \/>\nsaturated fats help the body decrease the cholesterol level.<br \/>\nA gradual decrease in saturated fats is recommended.  Also,<br \/>\nincorporating fruits and vegetables into your diet helps<br \/>\nbuild up the fiber level.<\/p>\n<p>Basically, you need to take a lot of bread, cereal, rice,<br \/>\nand pasta and supplement it with vegetables and fruits in<br \/>\nsufficient quantities. You can further add products like<br \/>\ncheese, milk, yoghurt, meat, poultry, beans, beans, eggs and<br \/>\nnuts but in smaller quantities. Finally, bring your intake<br \/>\nof fats, oils and sweets to the minimum.
