How to Take Yentreve
Yentreve may be taken with or without food. Yentreve has not been shown to increase the effects of alcohol. Even so, you should take extra care if you drink alcohol while taking Yentreve.
The recommended dose of Yentreve is one capsule of 40 mg twice a day (in the morning and late afternoon/evening). However, your doctor may decide to decrease your dose to one capsule of 20 mg twice a day. If you think that the effect of Yentreve is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor. Yentreve must not be taken at the same time as, or within 14 days of taking a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) antidepressant, for example phenelzine, tranylcypromine or isocarboxacid. In addition, this type of antidepressant should not be started until at least five days after stopping Yentreve.
