Home Remedy For Cleaning Bathroom Tile

Bathrooms are places that must be kept very clean and should be free from germs and bacteria. For this purpose using chemical based bathroom cleaners may not be a very good idea as chemicals are toxic in nature and their smell is also not so good. Moreover they can be really harsh on the tiles of the bathroom and may take away the shine from them.

Ingredients:-

1. One may use vinegar, bleaching or ammonia for cleaning the tiles but one must be careful while using a mixture of home made bathroom cleaners because sometimes they may produce a dangerous mixture. For example, in the case of ammonia and bleach before applying any home made cleaner on the tiles, one may use any brush or tooth brush to clean the surface as then it will become a lot easier to apply any cleaner and the cleaner will also not mix with any impurity.
2. Instead of using only toothbrush, using it with a bit of tooth paste will be a lot more effective. In this way, toothpaste can also be used as a cleaner substance which is completely safe and hygienic. Toothpaste when mixed with water produces foam which is very good at making the surface shine. Now the process starts with the scrubbing of tiles using the toothbrush.
3. It works best when the bristles of the toothbrush are a bit more spread than normal in order to cover more area while scrubbing the surface once. After applying the toothpaste on the entire tiles, one may wash the whole surface with water. This process makes the surface ready to get more cleaned with the use of other home made cleaners later on.
4. Vinegar is one of best cleaning materials and is completely safe because of its natural qualities. The vinegar is mixed with water and then applied on the surface in a manner that it covers the maximum area in a single flow. This is done so that even a small point is not left without its effect.

When the vinegar mixture covers the whole of surface, it is time to gently scrub it with a clean rag. The effect can be seen instantly but for better results the process needs to get finished. After scrubbing the whole surface with the rag, it is best to leave the surface without any activity for atleast 15 minutes so that vinegar can take out the impurities from within. The last step is to clean the surface with warm water and wipe it with a cloth or a thick towel!
